The Livestock
We use livestock from our farm and neighbouring farms where the animals are raised hormone and antibiotic free.
The FARMS
By working with our farming partners we can ensure good farming Practices and support local ontario family farms.
The Abattoir
Our abattoir in Walton has become a exemplary institution for not only its sanitation but also for its humane treatment of livestock.
THE BUTCHER
Our butchers continue to use the traditional methods learnt by Keith Bachert in Stratford in the 1960s.

In 2020 we achieved the highest audit score of all provincially inspected meat plants in Ontario. The OMAFRA auditor performed a very complex and meticulous inspection of all plant operations, procedures and protocols pertaining to safe food handling, cleaning and sanitation, employee health & safety and humane handling of livestock.
