All of our meat products are meticulously crafted with over 50 years of experience behind them.

Beef
Our beef comes from local farms with traditional farming practises with whom we have long, trusted relationships. They are raised hormone and antibiotic free.

The majority of our beef comes from Black Angus cattle, it is AAA or prime grade. It is dry aged with marbling and tenderness.

You can expect to find a large selection of fresh meat in the counter but our knowledgeable staff are happy to any custom cut you should require.

Our beef selection doesn't end there, we have 5 different types of burgers that we make in store.
Pork

Our pork comes from our own locally produced pigs which is then slaughtered in our abattoir in Walton. In this way we can carefully control and monitor the quality.
Renowned for our smoked pork chops, 12 varieties of our famous Grandpa Bachert sausages, traditionally smoked bacon and much, much more.
Poultry
LAMB
Our lamb comes from local Ontario farms and slaughtered in our abattoir in Walton. We keep a variety of classic cuts as well as lamb burgers and even lamb sausages. For larger lamb orders we advise ordering at least a week in advance.
All our poultry is from local Ontario farms. We also have free-range family raised chickens and turkey available seasonally.

Alongside the classic chicken cuts we have custom selections such as skinless chicken thighs, stuffed chicken breasts or chicken schnitzel and flavoured chicken sausages.
Turkey isn’t just for thanksgiving, we have breasts, smoked legs, sausages, bacon and schnitzel all year round. Around the holidays we have whole turkeys but do call the store to reserve.
